This lovely pub has been open since 1882, making it Brighton’s oldest pub on the seafront. It is a good meeting place if you are going clubbing on the seafront. There are DJs playing at the weekends and it always has a friendly atmosphere and is never too crowded. The décor has a maritime theme and the pub provides beautiful views over the seafront. It has an outside seating area and a buzzy atmosphere during the summer months.

Mash Tun

One of Brighton’s most popular pubs with locals, the Mash Tun is a good all-rounder- whether you are stopping for a drink with friends or decide to start your weekend antics. The décor is shabby but this place comes alive with an amazing atmosphere in the summer. The tables outside are always packed with drinkers watching the world go by which makes it a great place to spend a sunny afternoon or a warm evening. There is usually a DJ at the weekends and sometimes live music.

By Coach:

National Express coaches run regularly from London Victoria Coach Station. Approximate journey to one of our Brighton & Hove Holiday Homes is 2 hours and 10min to 2 hours and 55min.

By Train:

Regular trains run from London Victoria station to Brighton with a journey of 53min to just over an hour. Our Brighton & Hove Holiday Homes can also be accessed from London Bridge with travel time of 1 hour and 15min as well as London St Pancras International with a journey of just under 1 hour and 30min.

Nearest Airports:

London Gatwick is the main airport with an average train journey of 30min or just over 40min by car.
